Program Rules


Course of fire

  • Ear and Eye protection is mandatory
  • Chamber flags required.
  • All shots at 100 yds
  • May shoot as many sighters as necessary
  • Three 10 shot strings bench rest
  • One  10 shot string standing
  • Ten minutes allowed for each 10 shot string
  • All shots at 100yards.
  • All ACGC range rules will be followed.
  • Match Director has the final say.

Target used are the 100 Yard NRA High Power Rifle Slow and Rapid Fire

Target (SR-1)

Match fee is $5.00 and is subject to change.



The Modern Military match showcases the civilian version of a nations modern military. A couple of examples are the AR's and AK's.


There are two classes in the modern military match:

  1) Iron Sight

 2) Scope Sight


Iron sighted rifles

- All non-magnified sights including red dot

-No scopes allowed

-Targets are scored as follows:

Hits on target that touch or break the circle count at the higher value.

Off hand scores break any tie

Scoped Rifles

-Max setting is 6 power on scope. This means that if you lowest power on your scope is 6 power you can use it in this match but the match director will need to verify you have turned your scope down.

-Targets are scored as follows:

Hits on target that touch or break the circle count at the lower value.

Off hand scores break any tie


Matches are held after the Antique Military Match beginning on the last Saturday of March and ending on the last Saturday of October.  To qualify for the year-end awards, you must shoot in 6 of the 8 matches in one class.
